Tulip Summit

• Sponsorship/hosting of Country delegation (2 delegates) – from £750. Country delegates to be invited to be guests at the sponsor’s table at the Summit Gala Dinner.
• Sponsorship of speakers’ costs and accommodation – from £500 per speaker. Speaker to be invited to be a guest at the sponsor’s table at the Summit Gala Dinner.
• Sponsorship of a Summit Session – from £750. Sponsors logo and name on Summit stage and in delegate programme.
• Sponsorship of Summit delegate presentation folders and badges– from £600.
• Sponsorship of hospitality & catering – £500 for each of the Summit lunches.
• Sponsorship of transportation from Summit Hotel for Country and Premier delegates – from £500.
• Donations would also be welcomed to assist with the administrative costs of the Summit which is being organised by the charity, Springfields Horticultural Society in conjunction with South Holland District Council. Cheques to be made payable to Springfields Horticultural Society Ltd.

• Primary Gala Dinner sponsorship – from £2,000.
• Sponsorship of Summit Country delegates exchange gifts – from £750.
• Sponsorship of drinks reception – from £500.
• Sponsorship of invitations, menus and programme – from £500.
• Sponsorship of entertainment – from £1,000.
• Sponsorship of guest speaker – from £2,000 upwards dependant on speaker.

Other Supporting Events

• Sponsorship of 3 Columbian “silleteros” from the Medellin Flower Festival who will create their unique floral discs for display at the Summit in support of a Columbian delegation and then leave the discs at their sponsors premises whilst they remain fresh – total cost of £6,000 to help with flights, accommodation, translator etc. but single sponsorship of £2,000 per silletero would also be welcomed.
• Sponsorship of Wakefield & North of England Florists Tulips display – from £750.
• Sponsorship of tulip art & memorabilia exhibition – from £500.
• Sponsorship of Summit flower arranging presentation evening in conjunction with Flowers & Plants Association– from £500.
• Sponsorship of ‘TulipMania the Musical’, a specially written musical to be performed by local and West End artists at the South Holland Centre, Spalding. To include reception, drinks and canapés - £7,500

General

• Recognition in Summit invitations and programme, including company logo if appropriate.
• Acknowledgement at all Summit related events.
• Recognition in Tulip2008 press releases, photographs and leaflets.
• Listing and links on the Summit web site www.tulip2008.com including the Sponsors ‘Roll of Honour’ web page.
• Opportunities to erect marquees in Springfields Arena and Events Centre for public and trade information throughout the week of the Summit and the Tulip Parade weekend.
• Consideration will be given to any other promotional/marketing proposition which a sponsor may wish to establish.

Media Opportunities

• The organisers and any agencies involved with the Summit will give full acknowledgement and due recognition to all sponsors and will provide any related support, images and text for individual sponsors use.

Brand Partnerships

• Exclusivity agreements for associate sponsors using a single brand or company name can be negotiated for Summit related events or activities.
• Licensing of memorabilia using the Summit logo will be limited to one supplier per product. Competitive tenders will be required for items with a combined retail value of over £5,000.

Regional Economy/Tulip Sales

• All sponsors and supporters participating in the Tulip Summit will be helping to raise the profile of South Holland and the Fens region, encouraging short term tourism revenue benefits and possibly attracting longer term investment into the area.
• Additionally, sponsors support will encourage the promotion and marketing of bulbs and flowers through the PR and media opportunities associated with the Summit.

Civic Pride

• Through their support, at whatever level, sponsors will be creating the opportunity for community groups and charities throughout the region to become involved in special fund-raising events linked to the Summit, the 50th Tulip Parade and TulipMania.
