In order to raise the profile of the region in the weeks before and after the 2008 Summit and the 50th Tulip Parade, many areas of South Holland and the Fens will be participating in a “TulipMania” Festival.
“TulipMania” will be a combination of events designed to encourage the participation of local communities as well as being additional attractions to national and international visitors.
“TulipMania” branded events will be widely publicised to maximise media and PR opportunities and will be featured on local websites and included in a special “TulipMania” Guide.
Sponsorship/Marketing Opportunities
The “TulipMania” Guide and Map
- Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are available in the “TulipMania” guide and map which will be the most comprehensive publication available during the festival. Up to 10,000 of these will be distributed throughout the area to be given free to local residents and visitors.

- South Holland District Council has planted tulips on many of the roundabouts leading to Spalding to give a colourful welcome to visitors.
- Springfields Gardens and Ayscoughfee Gardens have planted extensive tulip displays.
Tulip Walks

- Sponsors are required to provide funding for the printing of Tulip Walk maps in each of these communities. Cost for each map around £100. Contact is penny@visitthefens.co.uk
